Sandra Barnard
For more than a decade, Sandra has been overseeing the Full Spectrum School’s evolution into a flourishing community of students and spiritual seekers.
Her down-to-earth, yet uplifting approach is directed to those who are genuinely called to awaken to their true Self—to those who are consciously pursuing a spiritually realized life.
In the 1970s, Sandra’s inner quest led her to a powerful, most singular and remarkable Indian spiritual master who served as her teacher until his passing in 1982. He beautifully embodied and reflected the ultimate goal in life, which is to realize God—the Divine—within one’s very own Self. After many profound spiritual experiences, her journey culminated in an extraordinary inner transformation at the age of 34, which ultimately set in motion her true life’s mission: to sit in the presence of Truth, to manifest the loving compassion and wisdom of the Divine Mother, and to welcome others with love.
Among the spiritual traditions that most illuminate Sandra’s teachings are Advaita (or non-dual) Vedanta, Yogic
Philosophy, Tantra, and in general, the wisdom, poetry, and classic stories of the great spiritual masters, East and West, down through the ages.
Through her talks, Sandra makes the mystical accessible and the ordinary sublime. Students find they can have an immediate, direct, inner experience simply by immersing themselves in the spiritually charged energy that becomes palpable when spending time in Sandra’s company. With compassion, skill, love, and laughter, she guides seekers into the deep space of the Self and invites them to realize the true source of depth, power, love, freedom, and bliss within themselves.
Most importantly, Sandra’s powerful healing presence has deeply touched and transformed many over the years.
She has an urgent message to all seekers, regarding these challenging and difficult times: “Wake up to who you really are. Walk the spiritual path with consciousness, enthusiasm, a joyful heart, and generosity of spirit. Embrace the deeper purpose of your life, which is to realize the greatness that resides within you. And remember always: to love each other, to be good to one another, and to see God—the Divine Self—in everything and everyone.”
“Who I was—the story of my life, of who I used to be—is not that important. What matters is who I am right now and who you are in the moment of our meeting. That meeting of one another is what is important—that is what is profoundly and indescribably meaningful.”
